Description
One of the iconic places in Colorado that are a must visit are the Maroon Bells near Aspen. We showed up around midnight and spent the night in the car just to be there to photograph sunrise on the Bells. There was a pretty good breeze blowing not to mention a busload of photographers standing shoulder to shoulder for sunrise. We choose to hang around a few hours until after all the photographers left as did the breeze leaving the water glass like for a nice reflection. One thing I've learned in all my years of landscape photography, patience usually pays off.
