The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Took my wife to La Jolla for a birthday weekend getaway and of course some shooting (the photographic kind). One of my favorite places to shoot while in the San Diego area besides Sunset Cliffs are the tide pools in La Jolla. Surely to have plenty of surfers and hopefully a beautiful sunset which we were blessed with on this evening of March 2015. Some tech specs for this photo taken with a Nikon D-800, 3.2 seconds, f/20, ISO 50 @ 24mm with a Nikkor 24-70mm lens all mounted on a Really Right Stuff TVC-23 tripod and BH-55 ballhead. A Lee Big Stopper was used to create the long exposure.
