Artist's Description
We visited Canyonlands and Arches National Park back in December of 2012 and decided to take a drive out to the Fisher Towers. A beautiful collie dog came out of nowhere her legs covered in ice, it was bitter cold out. She had a dog collar and dog tag but she wouldn't let me get close enough to read it and instead took off running through the snow covered fields. I hope and pray she found her way home. Being a dog lover this photograph will keep her memory etched in my mind forever.
About Chuck Jason

Welcome and thank you for visiting. I'm a landscape photographer based in Henderson, Nevada which is on the outskirts of Las Vegas and centrally located to some of the most beautiful places that I love to travel, hike and photograph. In nature is where my heart and soul are happiest, with my camera in hand or merely as an observer. Being in nature allows me to soak in my surroundings in a meditative state. Having a life long passion for photography and a deep sense of gratitude to not only be able to witness the beauty but to capture that feeling and express it through my art work. I'm a retired USAF veteran, husband and father who absolutely loves the solitude and beauty of the great outdoors. Please feel free to contact me if you...

Thank you Donna! I was heartbroken that day. I tried & tried to get her in the car to find her owner to no avail. I appreciate your comment.
