Description
A place I've wanted to photograph for years. In 2013 I had lottery passes to visit an area close by but our dog was attacked by a coyote and we ended up missing the date. I've had White Pocket on my radar just about as long and basically got tired of not getting there. We've recently added a vehicle that can make it but not having been there and hearing horror stories of $2,000 tow bills from being stuck in deep sand I decided to go with a tour group. We decided to go with David Swindler's “Action Photo Tours” so I could check out the road and see how possible it was to reach in our new vehicle. So glad we went as I know driving there will not be a problem for us and we met some awesome photographers! David is a great guy and runs a terrific tour! I loved shooting here and could spends days exploring and shooting. We'll definitely be back!
