We visited Colorado for the fall colors in 2015 and spent some time photographing and exploring the area around Aspen. We were staying in Glenwood Springs and found a great hike to do in Glenwood Canyon. The hike is just over a mile but is quite steep and very rocky. Elevation gain is about 1,000ft. and will definitely get your heart pumping. The hike to Hanging Lake and Spouting Rock is one of Colorado's most popular. The small lake is crystal clear and absolutely gorgeous. A great place to have a lunch and watch the small fish swimming around. Hanging Lake is billed as one of the most beautiful lakes in Colorado.
