Description
While visiting the Columbia River Gorge I tried to move to different locations due to heavy rain storms. I don't mind shooting in light rain but will not subject myself nor my gear to heavy downpours. On this particular day it was pouring rain in the gorge so we decided to take a drive to Cannon Beach, the weather was supposed to be good for sunset. Along the way it was raining off and on. While traveling along highway 26 towards the coast the sun popped out for a few minutes enough for me to catch this scene out of the corner of my eye. I quickly turned the car around and captured this just before it started storming again.

The moss on the trees is grasping that lovely light so well. You must be so pleased you stopped to take the picture. Moments like this are fleeting; it's there and then it's not! Fabulous!
